This Privacy Policy describes how FinTrack (the "App," "we," "us," or "our") handles your information. We are an offline, local-first expense manager. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal or financial data to any external server.
FinTrack is designed to prioritize user privacy and data sovereignty.
All user-entered data is protected by industry-standard encryption protocols using SQLCipher (AES-256) and the Android KeyStore.
The App only requests permissions necessary for its core functionality, such as storage access for manual backups.
To support the continued development of the App while keeping it free, we display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use information about your device, such as your device's advertising ID and app usage data, to provide personalized ads. We do not share any of your personal financial data entered into FinTrack with our advertising partners.

The App supports creating and restoring an Encrypted Backup File. We do not store or manage your backup file or your encryption PIN.
